Sheffield Wednesday are in a ‘video nasty’ sent by last Saturday’s opponents, MK Dons, to the Football Association.

It is an effort by the Dons, who the Owls brushed aside 3-1, to highlight what manager Karl Robinson branded as “horrific” tackles made on his players. Robinson was incensed by tackles on Stephen Gleeson and Darren Potter by Julian Bennett and Jermaine Johnson respectively.

He has claimed the challenges could have threatened their careers and said: “The tackles on Gleeson and Potter are horrific. I’d love for someone to come back to me on how he’s (the referee) missed it.”

Wednesday refused to comment on the matter.
