If Wednesday havem’t had much luck at one end, they certainly got a little fortunate at the other there. A low ball was flashed across the box and met by on the on-rushing Fraizer Campbell. He couldn’t quite get a clean connection on it and sent it high and wide from six yards out,

It’s been a funny game, this

This is a match that has ebbed and flowed throughout. At times it’s seemed like midtable fare, rather than a clash between two sides who could do with points to make their respective positions a little more secure.

Given Huddersfield’s precarious position above the bottom three, you’d have expected a bit more urgency from the visitors. They’ve had spells when they’ve played some decent football and Wednesday have struggled to win the ball back but Huddersfield’s tempo has not been particularly high.

Wednesday themselves have played some good stuff in the opposition half but have just lacked a bit of quality and fortune in the final third to make it count.

We’re into the last 15 minutes.

Time for another drink just as Wednesday were beginning to climb into some momentum. Banna curled over, Windass has started buzzing around in between the lines.

Alessio Da Cruz has been at the centre of a couple of attacks and all of a sudden Huddersfield have been a touch stretched.

You fancy a goal either way will win this.

Wednesday’s changes paying off

As in the first half, Wednesday seem to have weathered their early storm and are now getting hold of things a bit more. Some nice football being played and a couple of strikes on goal.

Da Cruz probably should have pulled the trigger there, but instead finds Bannan who curls one over. Owls getting into things now, but haven’t got that clinical edge once more.

Iorfa down on the ground now after a nasty fall. More subs coming.

Huddersfield starting the second half like they started the first. A few chances falling their way, and now a couple of corners. They’re turning the screw, and SWFC need to fix things.

Might be time for a sub. Yep. Da Cruz and Pelupessy on, Murphy and Hunt make way.

Can’t give Grant that much time. A mix-up in the midfield and Huddersfield’s top scorer gets it onto his right foot and beyond Iorfa.

The defence did enough to make sure he forced his low shot wide though. A warning for the Owls though.

HTAFC putting some pressure on here, and the Owls giving away possession needlessly too often. Need to get back in control of this.

Börner looking very classy for SWFC today. Calm and composed in possession, pushing up a bit when he needs to and he’s picked some really nice forward passes too. More like it.

Windass and Bannan combine to set Murphy through, and he does very well to get a ball into the six-yard box, but it’s scrambled away by Huddersfield and the Owls’ wait for a goal continues.
