Here’s how we rated the Owls players...
5. Morgan Fox - 8
An absolute mainstay in this team now - another hugely competent display rewarded with his third of the season, poking it beneath Lumley from Hutchinson's quick throw. Defensively strong and dealt with the highly-rated Jack Clarke - who was subbed - expertly. Photo: Steve Ellis
6. Jacob Murphy - 8
The brightest spark going forward, Murphy used his pace to good effect. Forced a sharp save from Lumley after 18 minutes with a rasping shot from a similar angle to his goal at Leeds and tricked his way into position to unleash a couple of dangerous-looking crosses. Photo: Steve Ellis
7. Sam Hutchinson - 8
Made a couple of vital interceptions in the first half as QPR got themselves going and unleashed a delicious ball over the top for Murphy's first-half chance. Caught the hosts napping with a quickly-taken throw for the goal. An imperious performance. Hobbled off for Hunt on 53 minutes. Photo: Steve Ellis
8. Kadeem Harris - 7
Welcomed back from his well-earned rest after a leggy festive period. Looked dangerous in fits and starts and could have scored cutting in from the left on the stroke of half-time. Grew into it as the game went on. Photo: Gareth Fuller
