13. Josh Windass
Now at the club on a permanent basis, Windass joined just minutes before the deadline in January on loan from Wigan alongside Wickham. He has since scored five goals across the two spells with the club. Photo: Nathan Stirk

14. Jacob Murphy
Along with Bates and Luongo, Newcastle loanee Jacob Murphy joined in last summer's last day. A very slow start was recovered and he was arguably the star of a dire second half of the season for the Owls. He went on to score nine goals and is back at St James Park attempting to make his way under Steve bruce. Photo: George Wood

15. Michael Hector
A deadline day loanee from Chelsea in August 2018, Hector would go on to win the club's player of the year award in a testing season. A fan favourite, he scored two goals in 37 league matches before going on to join Fulham, where he remains. Photo: Nathan Stirk
