The scoreline doesn't offer a fair reflection on this game as Sheffield Wednesday fell to a 2-0 defeat at Pride Park.

There were a number of stand-out performances and here's how we scored them all.

KEIREN WESTWOOD - 8

May not be having his best seaosn at Wednesday but showed just how good he is and can be with a superb performance. Took almost every cross with ease, made a few excellent saves and kept Wednesday in the game until Johnson scored Derby's second.

JACK HUNT - 6

Steady performer and like everyone was forced to work hard in defence and getting forward. Probably could have been better with his crossing

GLENN LOOVENS - 2

Nightmare for the returning skipper who gave away a penalty after four minutes for tripping Vyrda and was subsequently sent off

TOM LEES - 7

His best performance of the season. A rock at the back and he had to be at times. Won many headers, was calm in possession and threw himself into challenges when necessary

MORGAN FOX - 6

Must have been hard having worked on a system in training all week only to have it thrown into the bin after four minutes. Covered at centre back after Loovens' red and did well

ROSS WALLACE - 6

Busy, tricky at times and kept trying to make things happen. Like Hunt his delivery was often poor and sometimes he held onto the ball for too long but overall he played well.

BARRY BANNAN - 7

Up and down the pitch all day, helping up front one minute and the defence the next. Passed excellently but needs to work on his shooting but did come agonisingly close with one drive from distance

KIERAN LEE - 6

Word so hard but didn't manage to provide the necessary passes or make the runs through the middle taht Wednesday needed to break Derby down

ADAM REACH - 5

Up and down the flank all day but excelled neither in an attacking sense or defensive. Not his fault, that, just not his kind of game

GARY HOOPER - 7

Always looking for the ball, whether it be coming deep or making an intelligent run. Wasn't given too many chances but made a nuisance of himself.

STEVEN FLETCHER - 6

Did well to pick up a few chances but should have put at least one away. Unlucky not to have won a penalty

Subs

LUCAS JOAO - 6

Did well when he came on for Fletcher and caused a few problems for the home side

MARCO MATIAS

Rarely on the ball in the few minutes he got
