Player Ratings: Don't concede, don't lose - Sixes galore as Sheffield Wednesday claim another point under Tony Pulis v Stoke City

Tony Pulis went up against his former employers, Stoke City, in his first home game as Sheffield Wednesday manager.

Honestly, there wasn’t really too much to talk about after what was very much a goalless stalemate at Hillsborough… Jordan Rhodes being subbed off after only coming on at half-time was probably the biggest talking point to be honest.

Both keepers were left pretty much to their own devices during the game, which says everything you need to know about it really. Wednesday did look a lot more comfortable at the back though, and it certainly seems as though Tony Pulis is working on their defensive shape.

After all, if you don’t concede, you can’t lose...
