SHEFFIELD Wednesday won’t face Alan Lee when Huddersfield Town go to Hillsborough on December 17 but will be up against John Parkin.
The burly former Barnsley striker, who recently had a spell on loan at Doncaster Rovers, has joined Huddersfield on loan from Cardiff City until January.
Lee was sent off in Saturday’s record-breaking win over Notts Co but Huddersfield appealed against the dismissal.
However, the original decision has been upheld and so Lee’s three games ban stands, starting with next Monday’s televised clash at leaders Charlton. The trip to face the Owls represents the third game of the ban.
After the failed appeal, Huddersfield boss Lee Clark moved to bring in the 29-year-old who recently made five appearances for Doncaster before returning to Cardiff.
