Oxford United v Sheffield Wednesday LIVE

56’ - Wednesday growing back into it..

Nice touches around the edge of the box and Bannan tries to float one to NML, who is snuffed out.

Best move of the second half from Wednesday.

53’ - Good work BPF

He does well to bravely snuff out another Oxford effort in his own box, diving at the feet of Bodin.

If the first half was controlled, this has been anything but so far.

Really scrappy in midfield, with no chance of note yet for either side.

46’ - Back underway

You Wizards..

Half-time ratings..

Wednesday have been excellent - the scoreline doesn’t reflect the bulk of their dominance. It could have been 2-0 on a number of occasions.

But Oxford have looked at their most dangerous on the counter and got their reward with that late equaliser.

BPF - 6 Palmer - 7 Hutchinson - 7 Johnson - 7 Hunt - 8 FDB - 7 Luongo - 8 Bannan - 8 NML - 7 Gregory - 8 Sow - 6

Sow misses the top corner by an inch having peeled off from Hutchinson’s header.

44’ - Goal Oxford..

Against the run of play, but Oxford have looked good on the counter attack.

Taylor rose highest. Gut-punch.

42’ - Wednesday turning the screw..

They’re keeping Oxford very much at bay and have had all the ball.

It’s coming up to half-time.

37’ - Hunt does well..

Oxford’s best chance comes with a melee in the box. BPF made the initial save and Hunt did well to put himself in the way of the resultant parry.

33’ - Chance Oxford..

But Wednesday survive. They’ve looked good on the counter when they’ve had opportunity.
