Sheffield Wednesday will once again line up against Tyler Walker, son of Owls legend Des, on Saturday as his Coventry City side come to S6 desperate continue a run of form that has seen them go eight unbeaten in the Championship.

The lively 24-year-old striker, whose old man made 310 league appearances for Wednesday in an eight-year stint, is in good form for the Sky Blues and has scored four goals this season.

Together with Matty Godden, who may return from a foot injury, the likes of Owls defender Chey Dunkley will have their work cut out.

But it’s a challenge Dunkley is looking forward to meeting head-on.

“We get our individual analysis on our players,” he said. “Tyler Walker has scored a few, he’s doing well, but it’s my job to keep him out and that’s what I’ll be trying to do tomorrow.

“I will be watching the analysis on their forward players and seeing how they play. Hopefully we can keep them at bay and they don’t score tomorrow.

“They’ve done well, they’ve come up and they’ve steadied themselves in the Championship. It’s going to be a tough game.

“Anyone can bet anybody in this division. We have to give them respect, but we need to be thinking about ourselves and be more confident in how we attack the game.”

Coventry, who are led by another former Wednesday player in Mark Robins, hope to welcome back star man Godden, who also has four goals despite having been out for six weeks.

“He's been on the grass for the week, but he joined in yesterday (Thursday) and looked sharp," said Robins.

“Obviously he's been out for six weeks so it's a case of just waiting and seeing how he is and how the foot reacts because there's no saying that won't start to worsen for him.

“The physio thinks he will be okay and it shouldn't get any worse, the specialist that's seen him has said exactly the same, so I'm hopeful he's going to be okay.”

Wednesday are without Joost van Aken, Massimo Luongo and Julian Borner as well as long-term absentees Dominic Iorfa, Aden Flint and Jack Marriott. Keiren Westwood faces a fitness test.
