The Owls were outdone by a hard-working Sky Blues side and so have made a poor start to their six-week run of schedule madness when it comes to survival hopes.
Take a look at our ratings from a poor outing for the Owls.
1. Coventry 2 SWFC 0
..but who was hot and who was, well, not? Let's take a look.. Photo: Clive Mason
2. Keiren Westwood - 6
Made a couple of smart saves in the first half and was generally confident coming out. His 15th-minute intervention to stop Gyokeres in particular was assured. Unlucky to see the goal sneak beneath him. Photo: Lewis Storey
3. Matt Penney - 5
Made some decent forward runs, but he's not played much in recent months and it showed. Ultimately did little to put his stamp on the game. Looked leggy. Photo: Steve Ellis
4. Tom Lees - 6
The best of the Wednesday defenders on the night, Lees was solid enough and made some important headers. Photo: Stu Forster
