The Canaries are flying high in the Championship this season and are currently 10 points clear of second-placed Watford, so will be full of confidence as they travel to Hillsborough for this weekend’s encounter with the Owls.

Influential attacker, Todd Cantwell, made a scoring return to the side on Saturday as he helped them to a victory over Luton Town after recovering from a calf strain, playing 78 minutes before being replaced by manager, Daniel Farke.

On top of his return to action, it’s thought that Marco Stiepermann could potentially return to action against Wednesday on Sunday afternoon as he looks to get back on the field after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Both Stiepermann and January signing, Ørjan Nyland, completed 90 minutes for the club’s U23s last week as they stepped up their recovery and it’s been hinted that they could be in contention for the trip to Sheffield – Stiepermann scored two in their 3-1 win over Reading.

For Wednesday, however, it remains to be seen whether they will have any new faces available after eight players missed their defeat to Reading on Saturday, with Darren Moore set to give fresh updates with regards to availability at this week’s press conference.

The Owls and Canaries face off at 12.15pm on Sunday afternoon as the most in-form team in the Championship takes on the team with the worst form in the league.
