Managerless Sheffield Wednesday yet to sort out a number of Owls contracts

The Owls have seen a dramatic upturn in fortunes over the last couple of games, winning back-to-back matches at Hillsborough following Dejphon Chansiri’s decision to part ways with Tony Pulis.
While Neil Thompson has picked up a couple of impressive results with wins over Middlesbrough and Derby County, making it 10 points from a possible 12 of late, it still remains to be seen who will be taking over from Pulis on a long-term basis.

Hide AdWednesday have a number of key players out of contract in the summer, with the likes of Barry Bannan, Adam Reach, Kadeem Harris, Tom Lees among those who are now into the last six months of their deal, as are youngsters such as Liam Shaw.
It has already been reported that new deals have been offered to Bannan, Reach and Lees, while Shaw has reiterated his desire to remain, but it is believed that – understandably – question marks are likely to remain until it is known who will be coming on board to replace the former manager.
Chansiri told The Star last week that they’re still working on sorting out new contracts despite them being without a manager, but the task of getting clear answers from the plethora of players coming out of contract will become substantially easier once they know who they’ll be working with going forward.
