Mad scramble for in-demand Sheffield Wednesday away day set to commence - allocation confirmed

Owls ticket news...

A mad scramble for an in-demand Sheffield Wednesday away day is set to commence.

The Owls are averaging home crowds of more than 30,000 this season and have sold-out all their away trips at Leyton Orient, Wycombe Wanderers, Peterborough United and Salford City. They will also be backed by a packed away end at Huddersfield Town this Saturday.

Apart from the near 4,000 allocation given by Peterborough, opposition clubs have only offered between 1,200 and 2,300 tickets, meaning thousands are being left disappointed. With priority given to the most loyal supporters over the last two seasons, some who wish to attend regularly miss out.

The short trip to newly-promoted Notts County on Tuesday, October 20, with a 7.45pm kick-off, will be high in-demand, given the short distance and because it has been 14 years since Wednesday visited Meadow Lane, winning 2-1 in March 2012, which was also in League One.

An away allocation of 2,249 has now been confirmed and tickets will go on sale at the following prices on Tuesday morning:

- Adult: £26

- 65 and over: £21

- 22-25: £21

- Under 22: £17

- Under 18: £13

- Under 12: £5

Ticket sale details:

- Tuesday 6 October (2:00pm): season ticket holders with 720 or more TPP

Notts, who won promotion from League Two via the play-offs last season, started the season with a five-game unbeaten run but no victories in their last four has dropped them to fifth from bottom and just above the relegation zone.
