On their club website, a Luton Town spokesperson said: “Due to the recent news regarding the coronavirus being confirmed as a global health emergency, we would like to encourage all visitors prior to attending this evening’s game against Sheffield Wednesday to consider if they have been in contact with any individuals who have recently returned from China, and if so, urge them to contact NHS 111.

“We encourage all visitors to make use of the hand sanitisers within the toilet facilities.”
