@_GeorgeSmith99 To be occupying third spot at the halfway stage of the season is a tremendous effort for Sheffield Wednesday. There was so much uncertainty at the start of the campaign with Steve Bruce’s exit, yet this team has come out shining. Solid work.

@liamkay1986 Dreadful game. Better second half but still poor on quality from both sides. Bit of luck needed to get the penalty but who cares? Not me. 3rd in the table at Christmas. I’ll take that. We need as many points on the board as possible before this inevitable points deduction #swfc

@LouisShackshaft Sat 3rd at the half-way stage, who’d have thought it? Merry Christmas

@S35CB Very subdued atmosphere, and not the best game to watch. I must admit, I was very surprised Big Dave wasn't subbed Instead of Rhodes. Was deffo a penalty, and cooly slotted away by @bazzabannan25. 3rd in the league with a winnable game on Boxing Day, things are looking good.

@ChrisBramms Great win. Very dubious penalty, but so was Derby's at Pride Park, while Luongo got booked for tackling thin air. Would've been annoyed if that pen went against us, and no doubt there will be some like that before the end of the season. #swfc

@grandetoro1949 Get in there Wednesday! Boom 3rd in the table! Were on our way, were on our way! #swfc #uto

@wez95_ Wednesday not throwing away a 1-0 lead in the last min that’s a Christmas miracle if I’ve ever seen one #swfc

@themunchkin2011 Had it enough times where decisions have gone against us so not going to moan too much, need fletcher back and a better performance on Boxing Day now #swfc
