The TWENTY-TWO Sheffield Wednesday departures of the summer transfer window

It’s been a busy summer of transfer activity at Sheffield Wednesday with the European window slamming shut on Monday.

A total of 22 players have left Hillsborough with seven being released from the academy, six from the first team, four returning to their parent clubs, one being sold and four sent out on loan. This is the list in full.

Released from the Owls Under-23s at the end of last season. The youngster came up through the academy ranks at Wednesday and signed his first professional contract in June 2016.
