The Kosovo striker replaced Sam Winnall on 68 minutes and created Jacob Murphy’s opener to give Wednesday the lead and then got on the scoresheet himself in injury-time to seal the points for the Owls.

Analysing Wednesday’s win at Leeds, Quest presenter Colin Murray, said: “They lost three in a row and then they beat Brighton away and Leeds away. Let’s not try and analyse it let’s just say welcome to the world of being a Sheffield Wednesday fan.”

While pundit Sam Parkin said: “The Leeds fans will say same story a little bit, wasteful in the final third but Sheffield Wednesday, yes, they had a little bit of luck but the goals were fantastic and doing it without Steven Fletcher who is going to be out for a few months now that is a huge result for Garry Monk to get them back firing.”

On Nuhiu he added: “Incredible, this is the fourth time he has done this (scored), this season in injury-time.

“I love this goal; three brilliant touches – Bannan round the corner, wonderful pass, and Reach perfect weight and then there is only one place as a centre-forward you can put that, you can use the defender as shield and you have got to bend it with place into that corner, it is a quite brilliant goal.”
