The visitors, just a point behind the Owls before kick-off, had the best chance of the game after just 14 seconds when Callum O'Dowda fired a shot wide of the near post from the edge of the box.

Since then, chances have been few and far between with Wednesday’s best effort coming in the 23rd minute when Liam Palmer’s volley at the far post was cleared off the line.

Other than that it’s fair to say the spectacle hasn’t captured the imagination of the paying public or those watching on TV.
