The home side have dominated possession and have had the better chances but Garry Monk’s outfit have been compact, disciplined and silenced the Elland Road faithful.

Our Wednesday reporter Dom Howson writes on Twitter: “The Owls will be by far the happier of the two teams. They have stifled Leeds’ creative players and restricted them to few opportunities. Dawson has only had one serious save to make.”

Here’s what you have had to say on Twitter about Wednesday’s first half showing.

@desertowl_13 Good match so far. I'll take the nil-nil. #swfc

@_hazzy 0-0 at halftime, I'll take that! Smash and grab coming 2nd half #swfc

@DeanMissere We have Bannan, Lee and Luongo in midfield and are still barely getting a kick. Our attacking options are woeful and none of them can keep hold of the ball to move us up the pitch #swfc

@WednesdayRetro Three straight league defeats, probably playing best side in division and some expect us to be playing these off park #swfc

@jamesmappin We’re still in with a shout. It only takes one chance and we can nick it. Winnall has hardly had a touch though in the first half. #swfc

@Barx_SB Seeing all moaning bout letting Leeds have the ball. When it’s across their back line they can have it all day long.Once they cross over half way, we’ve been pretty decent shutting them down. My gripe is fitness. Reach and Murphy look like they’ve got caravans on their back #swfc
