Sheffield Wednesday winger joins Livingston on loan

Owls winger Jack Stobbs has today joined Scottish Premier League side Livingston on loan.

The 22-year-old, who has made six senior appearances for the Owls, will stay at Livingston until January 1.

Stobbs has been on Wednesday's books since the age of eight, signing his maiden professional contract in March 2014. His last Owls outing came as a second half substitute in their Carabao Cup second round defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers almost a year ago.

A Livingston statement read: "Livingston FC is delighted to announce the loan signing of Jack Stobbs from Sheffield Wednesday until January 2020, with a further option to extend the loan deal beyond January 2020.

"Jack will wear the number 31 shirt for the forthcoming season."
