Was only called into action once in the first half and rose to tip the ball around the edge of the post. Saw more action in the second half with one top save from a Baker effort.
Had chance to put Wednesday in front from a header in the first half but sent it over. Caught out of position in on a few occasions in the second half but another clean sheet for the defensive unit.
Looked adept at the back again in a changed partnership with Thorniley replacing Lees. Saw a lot of the ball as Wednesday looked to play out from the back in the second period.

A more than capable replacement for Tom Lees who did not make the squad at the last minute. Looked assured and comfortable and made it look like light work to keep Reading at bay.
Limited Reading's use of width and communicated well with Reach on the right to start most of Wednesday's attacks on that flank in the first half. Provided the chance of the game in the dying stages as Reach fired over.
Did what he does best - interrupted the flow of any Reading attack by shielding the back line. Drew a foul or two in potentially dangerous situations in the process, but otherwise a solid display.
Captain for the day in place of Lees. Had a few attempts at goal from range, albeit wild ones. Vital in cutting out the ball when Reading were on the break, but wasn't at his creative best.
Wednesday's liveliest player in the first period. Was creative on the right and linked up well with Fletcher to drift inside, but sent the chance of the game over the bar in added time.
Played a fantastic cross field ball for Wednesday's best chance in the first period that was just out of Fletcher's reach. Was otherwise fairly quiet until he was replaced by new man Rolando Aarons.
Was at his best when linking up with Fletcher and had a few shots on goal, but often dropped too deep to turn and take the ball forward. Substituted on 75 mins for Lucas Joao.
Showed off his telepathic link up skills with Reach and Forestieri again, and was close on a few occasions. Worked tirelessly as ever until he was subbed for Nuhiu with five minutes to go.
A second half sub for George Boyd. Immediately injected some life into Wednesday, demanded the ball and blended tricks with pace on the left wing. An impressive home debut from the Newcastle loanee.
A second half sub for Fernando Forestieri. Couldn't replicate last weekend's super sub performance with a goal.
A late sub for Steven Fletcher. Didn't have long to make an impact against a stubborn Reading defence and couldn't be the man to win the three points on Steve Bruce's first home game.
