Here's how we rated the Owls players...

Saw a few shots go wide of his post, but was relatively untested by anything on target. Got down low to smother Ipswich's best chance from a corner.
A good showing from the right-back. Limited Ipswich so they had to advance up the middle rather than use their width. Was nearly caught out of position late in the second half.
The Owls captain put in a strong display and was never really tested by a weak Ipswich offensive line. Ultimately kept the opposition at bay and looked comfortable in a defensive pairing with Hector.

Solid at the back as he returned to the starting line up. Came away with the ball cleanly every time as Ipswich applied pressure in the second half.
Another good game from the full back. Shut down any Ipswich advances on the flank and also made his way up to deliver some decent balls from the left wing. Quieter in the second half than the first.
Showed his experience to stop an Ipswich counter attack in the second half by committing a foul to halt the game, although got a yellow card for the challenge. Was tenacious to keep Wednesday in it in the second half.
Dictated from the midfield as Wednesday looked for a goal in the first half. Threaded balls through to create chances, but also picked up a yellow card for cutting out the ball - and the man - as Ipswich advanced on the break.
Should have scored from close range in the first period but sent the ball sailing over the bar. Improved in the second half and provided the assist for Joao after a fantastic run to the byline to cut the ball back.
Wednesday's best player in the first half - looked sharp on his first start since November and had a couple of attempts at goal that he should have buried. Subbed for Aarons on 85 mins.
Created a few chances down the left in the first half, but couldn't offer the pace Wednesday needed to get the job done. Made way for Onomah on 65 mins.
Showed why he was voted player of the month as he harried the Ipswich defence and caused problems with his link-up play in the second half. Replaced by Lucas Joao on 72 mins.
Came on for George Boyd on 65 mins. Opened up his body to bring Forestieri and Joao into play as he worked on the left. Put in a shift defensively too as Ipswich pushed for an equaliser.
A 72nd minute sub for Steven Fletcher. Created by linking up with Forestieri and played the winger in twice with neat flicks and tricks. Showed composure to slot the winner past Bialkowski in the Ipswich goal.
Given his first Owls appearance as an 85th minute sub for Fernando Forestieri.
