The Bluebirds stunned Hillsborough inside the opening eight minutes by going two goals up courtesy of Robert Glatzel and Junior Hoilett.

Skipper Tom Lees pulled one back for Garry Monk’s men in the 18th minute as the Owls look to return to winning ways after the disappointing 3-2 reverse at relegation-threatened Stoke City on Boxing Day.

Here’s what you’ve had to say after the opening 45 minutes.

@1867News We've played better and created more opportunities in that first half than we normally do. Shame about the naive defending that left a mountain to climb.

@ndunne76 We can win this..... first 10mins were awful but Cardiff are awful too...... definitely winnable

@SergejOdstrom Stupid defending, good fightback. Hutch is golden.... Need to stop with the long balls tho, play it out #swfc

@YesWeCrann Not entirely sure how we’re 2-1 down today to be honest… Even with the horror show of an opening 10 minutes from #SWFC, we’ve still had more than enough chances to at least be level. Cardiff have scored two of their three shots, and that’s beyond annoying. Not over yet.

@RussAmos333 We’ll get something from game if we keep playing the way we are

@mickenell Iorfa has been poor again. Not marking players properly, and not winning headers he should be winning #swfc

@SheffWedWOTMT Awful defending again. Not been too bad upfront, but oh that defence!

@tjchitt86 We've shipped the five softest goals all season in the space of a few days
