No Steven Fletcher for Sheffield Wednesday as Garry Monk names unchanged side for Stoke City clash

Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk has named an unchanged side for the visit to Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium this afternoon.

Twelve-goal top-scorer Steven Fletcher has not travelled, having failed to recover from the illness which kept him out of Sunday's victory over Bristol City. His absence for the second match running means Atdhe Nuhiu is paired again in attack with Jordan Rhodes.

Sam Hutchinson returns after a two-match suspension, but the midfielder has been selected on the substitutes bench.

Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood is a notable absentee from the matchday squad, with Joe Wildsmith taking his place on the bench. Moses Odubajo is left out.

Third-placed Owls are seeking a third straight Championship victory for the first time since September 2018.
