Full-back Liam Palmer and midfielder Massimo Luongo replace suspended pair Moses Odubajo and Sam Hutchinson. Odubajo misses the trip to the City Ground following his red card in the midweek draw at Derby County while Hutchinson serves the first of a two-match ban for collecting 10 yellow cards.

Eleven-goal top-scorer Steven Fletcher leads the line, having shrugged off a minor hamstring. He will be partnered in attack again by £8m record-buy Jordan Rhodes.
