Latest Championship promotion odds after stunning Sheffield Wednesday thrash Nottingham Forest 4-0

Sheffield Wednesday thumped Championship promotion rivals Nottingham Forest to claim a memorable three points at the City Ground.

Garry Monk will have been pleased to secure a win in the second visit to the East Midlands in a week, after a 1-1 draw with Derby County on Wednesday.

The Owls are now up to 5th in the table after the win, and are 11 points behind Leeds United in 2nd place.

Leeds United threw away a three goal lead against Cardiff City to draw 3-3, whilst West Bromwich Albion regained top spot by coming from behind to beat Birmingham City 3-2 via a Charlie Austin brace.

Preston North End moved up to 3rd place by beating Luton Town 2-1 at Deepdale, and Brentford are up to 4th as they won the battle of West London by defeating Fulham at Griffin Park, causing the Cottagers to lose more ground on the top two.
