Garry Monk’s side silenced the Elland Road faithful with two late goals courtesy of Jacob Murphy and substitute Atdhe Nuhiu.

The win ends a three-game losing run in the Sky Bet Championship and moves the Owls back into the play-off places.

Speaking after the win, Monk said: “We matched them. We took our chances. Our game plan was good. We played with heart and courage and we have done that in the last two games.”

On Twitter, Wednesday fans have been celebrating the win over Marcelo Bielsa’s side, who went into the game as table-toppers.
