Sheffield Wednesday will make their second trip to the East Midlands in the space of a few days when they face Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Owls felt hard done by in their 1-1 draw with Derby County in midweek, with the Rams only equalising via a dubious looking penalty decision.

Now Garry Monk’s men travel to face a solid Nottingham Forest side that have remained firmly in the promotion race so far this season.

David Prutton played for both the Owls and Forest during his playing career, and the now-Sky pundit is predicting a tight game at the City Ground.

Speaking in his predictions column, he said: “Nottingham Forest just don't seem to have enough goals in their side. When Lewis Grabban isn't firing you wonder where they're going to come from, and they should have put Middlesbrough away in midweek.

“Sheffield Wednesday are ticking along under Garry Monk and should really have beaten Derby in midweek. He would probably take another draw at Forest, though.

“Prutton predicts: 1-1.”

Other predictions by Prutton include a 2-0 win for Leeds United at home to Cardiff City, a 2-1 win for Brentford over promotion rivals Fulham and a 1-0 win for Huddersfield Town away at Wigan Athletic.
