The Seagulls reached the semi-final stage of the competition last year and will hope to repeat a meaningful run according to Adam Stenning at The Brighton Argus.

We chatted to Adam about likely line-ups, the set-up of Graham Potters’ side and who Wednesday should keep an eye on.

Much has been made of Graham Potter's start at Brighton and the style of play he's implemented - is it worth the hype?

Most definitely. He has taken a side which were used parking the bus against big teams, in order to try and grind out results to a side who play free-flowing attacking football, no matter who the opposition is. Fans have been crying out for this kind of football for a while and are enjoying it.

This weekend's clash against Wednesday comes at the end of a busy time for both clubs - how will Potter set his side up and can we expect lots of changes?

I think we can expect to plenty of changes to the side that drew with Chelsea. He will probably make at least seven changes if not more. I would not be surprised to see of Albion's U23's involved in the squad as well with Potter's policy of bringing though the youth.

With those changes in mind, who are the players Wednesday will have to watch closest on Saturday?

Well up front would be one of the main areas to keep an eye out for. Top scorer in the last two season Glenn Murray will be looking to prove a point and Wednesday fans as well as many other sides will know how threatening he can be in the box.

Wednesday will also have to be alert from corners as I would expect to see Shane Duffy and Leon Balogun as threats in the box. Duffy is always getting on the end of corners and has scored a number of goals from corners, so he will be a handful.

Will Brighton see the cup as a nuisance or something they can really attack this season - could a cup run be their next step as a club?

I don't think they will see it as a nuisance, I think Potter will see it as a chance to give both players that haven't featured heavy in the Premier League and some of the youth players to show what they can do. Albion make it to the semi-finals last year and will be hoping they can put a cup run together with the squad depth and quality they have in the side.

How will they line-up?

I'd go for a 4-3-3 which will should look something like this: Button, Schelotto, Balogun, Duffy, Bong, Stephens, Richards, Jenks, Jahanbakhsh, Murray, Gross.

What's your score prediction?

I'd go for a 3-1 win to Albion with Glenn Murray on the scoresheet at least once.
