Barry Bannan starts as Sheffield Wednesday make two changes for Leeds United test
Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk has made two changes for the trip to Championship leaders Leeds United today.
Midfielder Barry Bannan, rested for their FA Cup victory over Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, gets the nod in midfield at the expense of Joey Pelupessy.
Bannan looks set to partner Kieran Lee and Massimo Luongo in the centre in a 4-5-1 formation.
Sam Winnall, out of contract at the end of the season, comes in up front for 12-goal top-scorer Steven Fletcher, who faces eight to 10 weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Youngster Osaze Urhoghide makes his Championship debut at right-back, but skipper Tom Lees is ruled out through illness.
Wide man Kadeem Harris is on the bench for the second match running. However, it is the first Harris has been named as a substitute in the league this term.
Owls: Dawson; Urhoghide, Iorfa, Borner, Fox; Murphy, Lee, Luongo, Bannan, Reach; Winnall.
