The forward pair of Lucas Joao and Atdhe Nuhiu should both come back into contention after missing the victory over Hull City last weekend, while Daniel Pudil, who was also unavailable for the match at the KCOM, is back in the frame for a start.

Luhukay also revealed that Jordan Rhodes, who scored the winner in that 1-0 win over the Tigers, has recovered from the minor knock that forced him off early on Saturday.

The Owls striker trained with the team on Thursday and should be available for selection.

"I think for Saturday (Nuhiu) is an option, the same for Lucas and Daniel Pudil," Luhukay said at his pre-match media briefing. "These three players weren't available last Saturday after getting injuries from the game before (against QPR) and they trained yesterday without any problems.

"If training is positive today and tomorrow I will for Saturday have these three players. That's why I have to look today and tomorrow at these last two training sessions to see oif they can play."
