In comes Massimo Luongo, who missed the weekend’s trip to Carrow Road because of suspension, for Joost Van Aken as Pulis looks to secure his first win as Owls boss at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Wednesday, who haven’t won since the hard-fought victory over AFC Bournemouth at Hillsborough on November 3, boast an impressive record at Huddersfield, having not conceded a goal there since January 2011 and unbeaten in the league at the John Smith’s since 2013.

Here’s how Wednesday fans on Twitter have reacted to this evening’s team news from West Yorkshire.

@AWhitto Pretty good that. Hope we can play well

@AlexCapel We’re gonna win the league.

@NewYorkOwls As far as team selection goes, it’s probably the best XI we have. How they line-up though is a toss up between 5-3-1-1 / 433 / 442??? #swfc

@BillyFensterFen Hope to see this as a diamond 4-4-2. Let Luongo sit in front of the defence to break up their attacks and push Bannan further up the pitch to create more chances #swfc
