Wickham, who has enjoyed two fruitful loans spells with Wednesday in the past, has made eight appearances in all competitions for Palace this campaign, scoring once. His opportunities have been largely limited to substitute appearances.

The 26-year-old began his career at Ipswich Town before an £8m move to Sunderland in 2011. Wickham had two spells out on loan at Wednesday and Leeds United while with the Black Cats before heading south to Palace in 2015.

Knee injuries have restricted Wickham to just 19 league starts at Selhurst Park.
