Sheffield Wednesday celebrated the start of a new era with their first home win in more than a year as they beat West Brom 2-1 on the final day of the Championship season.
New owners Arise Capital Partners were given a heroes welcome on the pitch before the game and then first-half goals from Nathaniel Chalobah and Liam Palmer gave the hosts even more reasons to cheer in front of a sold-out Hillsborough.
Jamal Lowe hit the post in the second-half before Karlan Grant pulled a goal back for the visitors with eight minutes remaining.
But it did not matter as Wednesday secured just a second victory of the season to move them off minus points. The Owls saw out seven minutes of added time as the final whistle was met with relief and joy on a day of celebration.
Here are our player ratings from the game...

1. Pierce Charles 7
Two saves in the first-half, one saved and one parried away. One scary moment with his feet but he got away with it. Made another stop in the second 45 but was perhaps caught by surprise when Grant flicked in, with the ball going underneath him. | UGC

2. Liam Palmer 7
Kept his cool to prod home from inside the area to make it 2-0. A fitting goalscorer on a memorable day for the hosts. Hobbled off to a big ovation at the end. | UGC

3. Gabriel Otegbayo 6
Returned from injury and made a vital block at 0-0 right in front of goal. Replaced on 55, which was probably pre-planned. | UGC

4. Max Lowe 8
Impressive once again, played forward and ran forward. Read things intelligently. Booked. | UGC
