Here’s how our Owls reporter Alex Miller rated each player in the dramatic defeat in the Potteries. Do you agree with him?
5. Morgan Fox - 6
The best of a defence that looked uncharacteristically slow and got his reward by flicking on Bannan's corner for his second of the season. Battled hard and made a handful of fine tackles. Photo: Steve Ellis
6. Adam Reach - 5
Was unlucky to hit the post just after the half-hour. Worked hard in both halves and did some of the 'donkey work' needed to set up what few attacks Wednesday offered. Moved into the middle in the second half. Photo: Steve Ellis
7. Barry Bannan - 6
Absent in the first half, Hutchinson's presence seemed to free him up in the second. Far from vintage Bannan, it's telling it was his delivery from corners that created both goals. Photo: Steve Ellis
8. Massimo Luongo - 5
A thundering tackle in the opening minutes was about as good as it got for Luongo, who did very well to escape a penalty shout on Clucas just after the break. Lost out the midfield battle and was replaced by Hutchinson before the hour having sustained a head injury. Photo: Steve Ellis
