Is there any injury news? Who is in the teams?

Owls boss Monk is expected to once again ring the changes from the side which drew 0-0 with Watford at Hillsborough on Saturday.

He named a completely different starting XI for the win over Rochdale in the second round last week which featured youngsters Liam Shaw and Ciaran Brennan as well as eight other other academy graduates, including goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith in goal.

Monk will once again have a near-full fit squad to pick from but it remains to be seen whether long-term injury absentees Osaze Urhoghide and new signing Chey Dunkley will make the trip to the capital.

“Both of them need some under-23 minutes first before league games and cup games… Osaze is pretty much there, Chey isn’t far behind,” said the Wednesday manager, speaking after the goalless draw with the Hornets.

Fulham, who have lost their opening two games back in the Premier League after losing 4-3 at Leeds United on Saturday, are expected to field a strong side as they did in last week’s second round 1-0 win over Ipswich Town – which saw goalscorer on the night, Aleksandar Mitrovic, named skipper by Scott Parker.

French international goalkeeper Alphonse Areola is expected to start having made his debut in the Ipswich victory, while Parker could also include summer recruits Mario Lemina and Antonee Robinson in his starting XI.
