Brown has been used off the bench by the new Wednesday manager since he was brought in to replace Garry Monk, and his games have been limited to 10 minutes or so as matches are winding down.
When asked about his thoughts on the Chelsea loanee’s performance as the Owls chased the game against Barnsley on Saturday, Pulis admitted that he hadn’t been able to see enough of him yet due to their schedule.

Hide AdSpeaking to The Star after the 2-1 defeat at Hillsborough, the SWFC boss said, “Izzy’s been injured, and he’s not as fit as maybe he should be. With a few of them, I can only go off the people who have been here before - and go on what they say and what they don’t say.
“Since I’ve been here it’s been midweek football, and again midweek football. There’s been no time really to assess people the way I’d like to assess them, and he’s one of maybe one or two that have not played that I need to see.”
It remains to be seen whether Brown will be bumped up the pecking order for next week’s game against Nottingham Forest, with Wednesday’s lack of goals and creativity proving to be a real issue for the club.
The Owls face Forest on Tuesday night as Pulis’ wait for a first Wednesday win continues at the City Ground.
