Josh Windass had put the visitors in front after the break with a fine header following a superb, pinpoint cross from the left by Adam Reach – with Tony Pulis’ men looking full value for their lead after producing a determined performance at Carrow Road.

But those efforts proved to be in vain as the Canaries battled back to win the game late on courtesy of Josh Martin and Max Aarons.

Our Owls correspondent Joe Cann wrote on Twitter after the game: “Tough to take, that... #SWFC would’ve taken a point before, but to come away with nothing after being up at 75 minutes is gutting.

“Much better performance, but here we are. Back on the bottom of the Championship.”

But what did Wednesday fans, also on Twitter, make of their side’s late capitulation?

Let’s take a look.

@robbiebebbie Disappointing end to a good 60 minute performance for #swfc. Pulis the master of his own downfall there, our confidence grew after we scored but changed it and we crumbled. TP outsmarted by Farke there, tactically naive. Three points from 15 for TP. Poor start. Needs to improve and fast.

@Bradders23Tim If we keep playing this way but learn to put chances away we"ll stay up easily #swfc

@michael_1867 Great shift from the players again and I don’t think we deserved to lose. As soon as we go 1-0 up we revert to sitting back too much. We can’t just rely on trying to win games 1-0. We looked fine how we were with Windass and Iorfa on. #swfc

@ellsjr92 Can we genuinely play the entire under 23s now? No actual joke, they can't be any worse #swfc

@GrantR_1867 Norwich are obviously a good team. For 80 minutes we had them right where we wanted them. We would always have bumps in the road, but there’s positives to take away from that. #swfc

@wesleykey Gutted. Perfect away performance til equaliser. Lees slipped, Palmer didn't track the runner and Wildsmith was slow off his line. Then we just looked spent. #swfc

@AdamSWFC_ Two positives. We ended with 11 men and a striker actually scored a goal #swfc

@maaace94 Hard one to take that. Thought we deserved something out that game but taking off your striker with 20-plus minutes left and going defensive instantly invites pressure. Oh well, on to next one #swfc

@growlers6 We didn’t do enough to win. Simple as that #swfc

@Cotton76 Best performance so far under TP. Didn't agree with Palmer sub though at that point.#swfc

@PCGuru07 I can only say Tony Pulis in. He needs time to sign players. The organisation of the team seems to be improving. #swfc

@RussAmos333 Always a shame Pulis didn’t come at the end of last season. I’ve seen a lot more to be positive about since he came in, and it’s not a solution that is fixed over night! Disappointing today but I believe he’ll get it right! Onto the next game #swfc
