Sheffield Wdnesday maintained their unbeaten pre-season campaign with a 1-0 win over Portuguese giants Benfica at Hillsborough.
Fernando Forestieri scored the only goal of a game where Wednesday at times impressed at both ends of the pitch.
It was mainly standard pre-season fayre, though; some neat play from both teams, some wayward passing and very few goalmouth opportunities.
The Owls, in a change to the original line-up, gave a debut to new goalkeeper Jake Kean, replacing Joe Wildsmith.
A typically tentative first half saw Benfica see a lot of the ball but Kean was rarely tested, while the home side looked dangerous when breaking.
Indeed Forestieri should have put Wednesday in front in the 20th minute when Barry Bannnan's shot deflected into his path. The visiting defenders paused as if to expect a flag to be raised but, left in acres of space, Forestieri was denied by keeper Paulo Lopes.
Three minutes later, though, last season's top goalscorer made no mistake as he latched onto a Marco Matias through ball and fired home.
After the break Wednesday were comfortable, enjoying more of the ball than the visitors and also looking impressive when pushing forward.
Bannan came closest to adding to the scoring with a fine 35 yard strike which whistled just wide of goal.
