Twelve-goal Fletcher, who has missed the last three matches due to illness, has been selected on the bench.

Elsewhere, Owls boss Garry Monk has made one enforced defensive change with Julian Borner coming in for Liam Palmer, who suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s defeat to Cardiff City.

@SergejOdstrom Winnall gets his last shot at it. Let’s hope he does it! Come on Wednesday, show some fight today and I will be happy no matter the result!!

@ryley_knight Fletcher hasn’t been well for the last few games so if he’s missed training or not been playing why would he start him? Give Monk a break he’s working with the plays he’s got fit.

@superjeans Fletcher out for two weeks with sickness, comes back on the bench. People think it’s bad management or that he’s off. Get real people!

@Afoxich Had to go with two up top. The fact that the shape and personal changes often suggests to me, we don’t know our best team or have any sort of style.

@Christheowls Get behind the team. Whatever team Monk picks is never good enough. Get back to your day jobs and let the real football managers do theirs.

@MarrisonMarro Is Monk going out of his way to make us dislike him? He’s persisting with a player who is 6ft 5 but who struggles to win a header. 36 goals in 227 appearances is poor. Why Nuhiu? Why?

@jfagej Sorry don’t get it! Play Rhodes and Fletcher, if only for the first hour rather than Winnall and Nuhiu. It makes no sense at all. Fletcher has only missed three games in 10 days, should be raring to go.

@MattrpSwfc Hope Nuhiu gets a goal or two to prove the doubters wrong. I'm not over enthused with him starting, but he practically won us the game against Bristol City with that late penalty. But haters will always hate.

@ChrisHuds If Fletcher is fit enough to be on the bench then he has to start for me.
