Lazaar penned a deal until the end of the season with an option for an added year should he impress, however it now appears that he will be on the lookout for a new club once again.

While the Hornets did achieve the promotion they were hoping for, Lazaar made just two Championship starts during his time at the club, playing a total of 222 minutes for them as he battled to earn a regular berth in the side.

The full back spent time on loan with Wednesday in 2019, however made just four appearances as he battled with injury during his time at Hillsborough.
