One of those you may have spotted on a video shared by the club this week was young right back, Josh Dawodu, who is a highly-rated defender in the club’s youth academy.

Dawodu spent practically all of his developmental years with Arsenal before joining the Owls in 2017, and it didn’t take him long to secure his first professional deal, penning that just 18 months later at the age of 18.

Now 20, the full back is one of numerous youngsters currently looking to leave a mark on Moore during the international break, with the likes of Liam Waldock, Ryan Galvin and goalkeeper, Luke Jackson, all training with the senior team in what will be Moore’s first extended spell taking training without games inbetween.

Dawodu could be an interesting option at right back between now and the end of the season should Moore seek to inject some youth into the position.

Moore has a reputation for not being afraid to use young players when required, and will be keeping a close eye on the youth setup at Middlewood Road as he seeks to continue the pathway through the ranks up to the senior team.

It remains to be seen exactly when Dawodu’s contract at Wednesday expires, but – like so many others – there’s a good likelihood that he could be up at the end of the season.
