So encouraging for so long, Sheffield Wednesday were far from disgraced in a 3-0 defeat at Everton.

Wednesday felt Brennan had been upended by Bernard but nothing comes of their appeal. We’re not even sure if went to VAR, but replays did show the Owls youngster being caught late by the Everton man.
