Here's how we rated the Owls players on another frustrating evening.
5. Moses Odubajo - 7
Struck the bar with an audacious left-footed effort that would have been a goal of the season contender. Was always keen to get involved going forward. Defended nicely. Photo: George Wood
6. Kadeem Harris - 7
Looked busy and was more involved for longer periods than in recent outings. Looked dangerous driving down the middle when he was able to and picked up his rewards with a well-taken goal, ending a run of 13 goalless games. Photo: JPIMedia
7. Massimo Luongo - 6
They've missed Luongo's legs. Added something both offensively and defensively and was the main man in Wednesday's first half. Faded in the second. Photo: Steve Ellis
8. Barry Bannan - 6
As ever, Wednesday's midfield focal point and made the most passes. Pushed play around nicely and got around the field. Narrowly avoided a horror moment just before the hour when he headed to Gimenez inside his own box. Photo: George Wood
