The young Owls got past Luton Town in the last round, winning out 3-2 at Kenilworth Road thanks to goals from Alex Bonnington (2) and Toby Kenyon. It was their first win in four matches.

Leeds came from behind to beat Hull City 3-1.

The match – with Leeds as the home side – will be played at Tadcaster Albion’s Global Stadium on Thursday 9 January, with kick-off at 7pm. Tickets will be available on the gate.

The two sides have already played this season in the Under-18 Professional Development League, in a 0-0 at Leeds’ Thorp Arch training base back in October.

Sheffield Wednesday have never won the FA Youth Cup, although they reached the final in 1991, losing out to Millwall.

Leeds have won the competition twice, in 1993 and 1997.
