Sheffield Wednesday left it late to seal a 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon and move up to fifth in the League One table.
An injury-time header from Lee Gregory was enough to earn the home side all three points after Jack Hunt’s first-half effort was cancelled out by Ayoub Assal.
The Owls were left frustrated for large periods and struggled to break down their visitors, who had new manager Mark Bowen in the dugout for the first time.
But Gregory’s tenth goal of the season sent Hillsborough into raptures and helped put daylight between Sheffield Wednesday and Oxford United in seventh.

9. Barry Bannan - 7
Provided the assist for Hunt's opener and was one few players who looked like making something happen in the first half. Passing was spot on, as always. Photo: Steve Ellis
Should have doubled Wednesday's lead when played through on goal in the first half and had a second-half effort beaten away by the Dons keeper. In his defence, he was involved in most of the Owls' attacks before being replaced. Photo: Steve Ellis
Produced several well-timed runs to get goal-side of defenders but just lacked the finishing touch until the dying minutes, when his diving header crept in. Cue pandemonium in the stands. Has a habit of popping up with a goal, even when he's been quiet. That deserves a personalised song, surely? Photo: Steve Ellis
