David Prutton reveals score prediction for Sheffield Wednesday's crucial clash with Charlton Athletic

Sheffield Wednesday are looking for a return to winning ways against Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night.

The Owls looked to have put a torrid run behind them at St Andrew’s on Saturday, but a late, late goal from Scott Hogan allowed Birmingham City to nick a point.

Back at home, Garry Monk’s side have failed to score at Hillsborough in 2020, and the boss will be desperate to change that record.

Charlton Athletic are in decent form, and have already won three league games in February.

Former Owls midfielder David Prutton is predicting a tough evening for Wednesday, and whilst he thinks that they will finally grab a goal on their own turf, he doesn’t think that they will win the game.

Speaking in his Sky Sports prediction column, Prutton has revealed that he believes the game will finish in a 1-1 draw.

Given Wednesday’s recent form, a share of the points would be far from ideal for the home faithful.

In other games, Prutton predicts that Leeds United will beat Middlesbrough 2-1, and that Hull City and Barnsley will draw 2-2.
