Sheffield Wednesday v Morecambe: Darren Moore press conference LIVE

DM on Iorfa’s contract

We’re really pleased to have Dom resigned with the club. I’ve been looking forward to working alongside Dom and in this season he’s going to play a big part for us.

He feels part of it, he loves the football club and we’re pleased to see him re-sign.

He has a lot of work with him and as good as he is, we work with him to get better. I’ve been pleased with his start to the campaign and there is more to come for him.

DM on the group / complacency

We try to guide against it in every single game. We prepare for every game and detail in every session.

We don’t want that to happen, to become complacent. There is always things to be worked on and there are things we’ve worked on this week.

We’re nowhere near the finished article. We need to max out being the best we can be in terms of our aspirations to get better.

They’re a team that is used to winning after the last campaign. They’re a club that has made huge strides in the last few seasons, they’re a club that is together and that has really enjoyed themselves in League One.

They try to play and play at a tempo, which is great to see.

It’s wonderful for Morecambe. They’re a good, well-organised team and they can cause problems.

It’s going to be a tough game and we need to make sure we’re at our best and we build on performances.

We need to stay in the game more and to keep that foot on the gas if you like.

We’ve had a rotation of players and we’ve not had that settled squad for games. We need to get people up to match speed and fitness. Both are still building and there is this continuous work that goes on.

We’ll see the closure of the transfer window. Mentally that settles everybody down because we all know what we have to work with.

Not at the moment. Nothing to talk about to signal or get excited about.

We’re concentrating on the game tomorrow. It’s another exciting game for both teams. We congratulate Morecambe on their promotion. They’re in good spirits and are setting a marker in League One.

There’s a lot been said about transfers but because we’ve done a lot of business at the moment things are quiet. We’ve been looking at maybe one or two more but there’s nothing imminent to report on.

My thoughts are on integrating the new players and getting that cohesion going.

We’re really pleased with the business we’ve done.

He’s been training with us the last few days and we want to give him more volume.

He’s chomping at the bit to be involved this weekend, but he won’t be involved. Another five or six days and he should be available.

He’s exactly the same, he’s ready to start games now.

He’s another one, he’s very different to Sylla but is a very effective player. He has a balance to his play and I’m pleased to say he can probably start games.

It’s good to have these players available now.

He moves so well with the ball and glides effortlessly with the ball.

He works on outside positions and inside as well. Full of enthusiasm and has an appetite really. He’s really looking forward to playing his part.

He’s ready now, we feel. He just needs minutes on the pitch and is at a level where he could easily be involved and ready for the game.

He’s trained all week and has hit that volume of training. I’m liking some of the patterns he’s doing in training and individually.

As far as I’m concerned he’s ready to be included.

Hutch is OK, he’s touch and go and has trained. He’s OK in terms of tomorrow and it’s whether we feel his fitness will be benefit to us. We don’t want any reaction to it.

Every game at this stage, there is always potential of squad rotation. We always look at each game and the personnel. There is another opportunity to rotate again tomorrow. We need to get players minutes and to get up to speed playing 90 minutes and back to back games.
