Sheffield Wednesday v Doncaster Rovers: Darren Moore press conference LIVE

DM on the atmosphere

It’s your day tomorrow. Get involved and have a real good day, get behind the team and sing your hearts out.

DM on his Donny experience

I enjoyed it and enjoyed the opportunity.

I played there as a pro and as a manager and had two fantastic seasons there. Nobody will argue my commitment to that club.

The opportunity came up here and I’m pleased to be here. I will endeavour to everything I can to get things moving and make things better here.

I can understand how it will deem in the media, but I will be professional and go about it. We look forward to seeing Richie and the team come down. Two managers that want to get the ball down and play.

We look forward to it.

I’d expect heat from any away end. If I’m getting that from the away end hopefully it’s the right type of heat.

I’m professional enough to see it as another game, a nice local derby.

It’s an exciting game, a first league game in front of our support. We’re looking forward to the game.

No more at this moment in time. It’s about working with the team now and getting the group settled.

We need to get that work into them now and get the consistency into them.

DM on other new deals

We’re looking within the squad. There are players across the team that we’re looking at.

We’ll see how those talks develop going forward. There are one or two we’d like to extend if possible.

DM on Windass cont.

We had no intention of selling him injury or not. We made that quite clear in pre-season.

Our job now is to get him back ready fit and to continue his improvement as a player.

DM on Windass contract

Josh is a Wednesday player and it’s important he’s been happy to sign on with us. He’s an important player.

We’re pleased Josh has signed on and we’re looking forward to having him back. We’re really pleased.

The new ones are all part of the squad tomorrow. We’ll see how we go.

We’ll see how they respond, but I don’t see it as a headache, we knew what we needed for the balance and all players are in a position that we feel can have an impact.

The only one really is the boy Sow, to see where he’s at. With him it’s about adding volume to his game.

It’s important for us that the players understand what is required. He’s looked good and fit and in real good condition. We look forward to working with him.

Darren is here.. first off injuries

We’re going to check on Callum Paterson and ensure he has every opportunity to see if he has any reactions.

Apart from that everyone is in a clean bill of health.

He’s under a protocol in the last few days when its a case of him not having any reactions. We’ll go from there. We’ll wait and see.

Good afternoon, Wednesdayites..

We’ll be speaking to Darren Moore ahead of his pre-Doncaster Rovers press conference, which is due to start from 2pm.

Stay tuned for everything he has to say on injuries, the visit of his old club and a whole else more.
