The 20 year old goalkeeper found himself merged into the Loughborough pre-season training camp last August, but is yet to make his professional debut for the Owls, with Dawson carrying an injury and Westwood left absent from the last matchday squad, there could be a showcase of the young man's potential on the cards.
As was evident in a three-way YouTube interview alongside Joe Wildsmith and Cameron Dawson, Render’s admirability towards his successors is something that will be welcomed into the warm palms of their goalkeeping gloves.
Ryan Galvin
With left-back a position Wednesday are potentially looking to strengthen over January, 19-year-old Galvin could be offered his first team debut to put his name into the hat for a more regular role.
Galvin’s encouragement to escalate further up the pitch and take men on during a match adds the overlapping assistance to the attack, whilst also having the blessing of speed to get back in a short period of time.

A Republic of Ireland youth prospect, the 20-year-old right-sided defender, remains a presence at the club since joining in 2013.
Having kept a clean sheet on his professional debut against Rochdale in the EFL Cup, the six-foot-two academy product could add some real aerial threat to the side.
Isaac Rice
A former under-16s captain for the Owls, the 20-year-old could overture his existence as a left-sided centre back.
Previously, he has been involved in the odd matchday squad, noticeably on the bench against Leeds United in 2018.
